An exciting new schools program right here at Altona Secondary College in 2002!

The “Schools In” Program is all about you, jobs, education and a whole range of other fun stuff. Being part of this program helps us get it up and running for you and other young people

You will be involved in:

· Finding out about the right job pathway for you

· Getting help with your school study

· Work Experience

· Recreational activities

· Finding out and telling others what you want in life

What’s the “Schools In” Program all about?

“Schools In” is about focussing on you, the student. Be part of:

Adventure Based Learning
An Accredited Program to help you achieve what you want from school and a job
Out of school activities that enhance your learning
Work experience with a hands on approach to school

Where will the “Schools In” Program be delivered?

The “Schools In” Program will run from Altona Secondary College with recreational activities conducted outside the school such as Geelong , the City of Wyndham and Hobson’s Bay

When will it start and how many days a week will the “Schools In” Program run?

“Schools In” will start the first few weeks of Semester 2 2002 and run for 4 days per week until the end of this school year
