Werribee Youth Education Centre
In response to community needs following a situational analysis conducted in 2001, CREATE commenced operations within Werribee the 2nd Semester of 2002 providing an alternate educational facility for youth aged 15 to 18 years. The development of the centre has been supported by local youth agencies, Centrelink, The WynBay LLEN, The Geelong Football Club Ltd and 95.5 FM K-Rock
The centre will host an official opening in late August 2002. Some 18 young people now attend the educational centre with pathways being continually developed to promote access to mainstream school education, local ACE providers, TAFE and sustainable employment
