Disability Support Services

"We believe in helping our young adults with a disability create the future they want by providing realistic choices and options"

CREATE’s Futures for Young Adults service is an individually focused, non-facility based, day program that helps young adults with a disability, aged 18 and over, move from the school environment to adult options such as education, training, and/or employment.

Futures For Young Adults forms part of CREATE's Disability Services and is staffed by caring and professional people who are commited to a client focussed service.

Futures For Young Adults can help in such areas as:

     Education

      Employment

      Training

      Work Experience

      Accommodation

      Driver’s Education

       Health

       Money Management

       Independent Living

       Literacy and numeracy

Create Your Future is a dynamic relationship between students, schools and CREATE (Geelong) Inc as a community based provider. This service encourages young people up to the age of 18, who have a disability and/or involvement with the school transition program, to develop pathways of learning which focus on increasing self esteem and motivation.

We achieve this together by way of providing assessment, work experience placements, and directing students into training, courses or educational programs outside the school facilities.
