The Youth In ACE Victorian Network
will provide enhancement of services to young people participating in the Adult
Community and Further Education Youth Pathways Program.
The Youth In ACE Victorian Network
will seek to improve the provision of services to young people by incorporating
support from within its own membership. The network will prioritise whilst maintaining
and developing its linkages to the broader and local community. The Youth
in ACE Victorian Network shall also link to other government
funded initiatives that facilitate the establishment of a professional network
of youth education providers. Youth in ACE Network Activities
The activities of the network will include but may not be limited to:
Encouraging Resource Exchange and Recognition of Best Practices
Building on Existing Resources and Recognising Current and Past Funded Initiatives
that Promote Best Practice for Youth in ACE Programs
Curriculum and Training Material Development
Auspicing Professional Development for the Sector
Developing the Staff Exchange Program (ACE Secondment Program) and the establishment
of the “Sister ACE Organisation Program”
School Partnership Development linking to The School Retention Initiative
State Pilots 2003
Development of Business Sector Partnerships
Conducting Regional Needs and Situational Analysis
Establishment of an Inter-Regional Referral Network
Development of an Internet Resource Portal for Practioners (Website Development)
Establishment of the Youth In Ace Victorian Network Association Contact
